Nepal Volunteer Abroad Projects with OpenmindProjects
Nepal Volunteer Schools
A volunteer abroad at a school in Nepal gets an amazing culture experience. Our school volunteer projects in Nepal are located in the Kathmandu valley, in cities and charming villages. Children come from poor families. Work conditions are simple but rewarding.
OpenmindProjects advocates a practical learning by doing approach to teaching children and also that volunteers and local teachers to work together. This is based on our extensive experience from our many education projects in Thailand.
International volunteers going to Nepal get a Pre Departure Handbook online with teach, travel and other advice prior to, as well as an In Country Orientation, upon arrival in Nepal.
Volunteers in Nepal normally stay with host, teacher, villager, families, at the Orphan Home or in Kathmandu with OpenmindProjects partner organization.
